There are two excellent DJ playlist managers for the Macintosh suitable for use in primary and secondary schools.
Both are shareware- free to use for a limited time. Each has its strengths. Ultramixer is very easy to set up and use while Radiologik DJ has more potential. Both would be excellent starting points to get into DJ mixing, as well as investigating sequencing of music/sound effects/narration for an AV production. Radioligik DJ has some interesting possibilities with respect to sound routing/ saving playlists that Ultramixer does not have.
