Often when browsing the DET WAN you will find a page you wish to share, so you copy the link and forward it on.
The problem with these sorts of links (above) is that all those numbers in the address identify the portal "session" that you were using when you were logged into the site.
It is very difficult to "copy & paste" portal links to email to others, as most of us have probably discovered.
But, it seems, that with a little bit of fiddling it can be done.
The link above translates to: https://detwww.det.nsw.edu.au/helpdesk/forms/stanform.htm
by leaving out the long number string, and replacing "portalsvrs" with "detwww".
Not sure that this is always the case, and obviously the "detwww" address is not accessible from outside the WAN.
