Background image

The background image is located in the Windows folder. It is named “default.jpg” replace it with whatever you wish. This method is much easier than having to unset the group policies that the DET have placed on the machine. I find a simple full black background is your best bet as it’s the least distracting if the OASIS client isn't launched.

Additional Printers

Adding printers is no different from adding printers to normal windows. Except that when using a USB drive with the drivers on it can sometimes have problems detecting the USB drive and it tends not to show up under the drop down window as a drive letter you can choose. To sneak around this when you add a printer and the you get to "Have Disk" type D: and press enter. It will complain that it can’t find any then open up an explorer dialogue and you can actually go and pick the folder that you need to from the flash disk.
